Statement of Faith

  1. The Holy Scriptures, as originally given by God, are divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and constitute the only supreme authority in all matters.

  2. God created everything as revealed in scripture. (Gen. 1-2, John 1:3)

  3. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  4. Our Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh; we affirm his virgin birth, sinless humanity, divine miracles, death, resurrection, ascension, and personal return in power and glory.

  5. God instituted the covenant of marriage to be between one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others.

  6. God created us male and female. Our gender is not a matter of choice but rather given to us by God, within our mother’s womb. (Gen. 1:27, Psal. 139:13, 14)

  7. God loves us all. (Rom. 5:8, John 3:16)

  8. The salvation of lost and sinful humanity is possible only through the blood shed by the Lord Jesus Christ, received by faith apart from works.

  9. The Holy Spirit enables believers to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.

  10. God will judge the living and the dead.
